Bean Bag Toss Tournament 2018!

pavliks.com's first ever Bean Bag Toss Tournament 2018!

By: Christa Pavlik |Jul 17, 2018

With the beautiful weather we've been having this summer, pavliks.com decided to change things up a bit from our seasonal ping pong tournaments by taking our friendly competition outdoors.

Over the past few weeks, our team members faced each other in a Bean Bag Toss tournament - also known as Corn Hole.

"Cornhole or bean bag toss (also known regionally as baggobagssack toss, or bean sack) is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing bags of corn (or bean bags) at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Play continues until a team or player reaches (or exceeds) the score of 21." Learn more here.

On Thursday July 12, 2018, the final game was played between Ryan Buxton and Steve Vickerage. As always, pavliks.com employees gathered around for the much-anticipated final game. Both Ryan and Steve played exceptionally well and it wasn't hard to see why they made it to the finals.

Congratulations to Ryan for being our first ever Bean Bag Toss Champion, with a final score of 21 to 15!

Check out the below photos capturing the excitement throughout the tournament and the final game.
