The contest opens on April 1st and allows business located in Simcoe County to apply for the $50,000 prize. Applicants are required to answer questions about their business, why they need a technology makeover, and the benefits they would realize from the $50,000 grand prize.

The winner of the Technology Makeover will get a $50,000 technology solution designed by pavliks.com and made up of:
- $15,000 in HP servers, desktops, monitors, printers and laptops
- $9,000 in Microsoft Small Business Server 2008 and Microsoft Office 2007 software
- $3,500 in Microsoft Dynamics CRM software
- $3,000 in miscellaneous network components like Symantec Antivirus and Backup Exec, and an Eaton Powerware UPS
- $5,000 new website designed by Integra Design Studio and powered by Sitefinity content management system
- $13,000 in installation, configuration services provided by pavliks.com
