With Microsoft’s Silverlight technology slowly starting to creep into our daily digital lives the question has been asked, what should I use for dynamic effects for my website? With many technology questions there is no right or wrong answer. Both Silverlight and Adobe Flash have advantages over each other and for the most part it comes down to what you feel is more important to your site.

In your kitchen, do you put forks in one drawer and knives in another? Likely not. The utensils are sometimes used independently but often are needed together. So why do we put information about our customers in multiple systems? Often we end up having to look in 2, 3 or more system to pull together a clear view of our Customers.
Look in a CRM system to see sales and contact information. Look in the account system for invoice history and payment status. Look in the shipping system to see the status of order delivery.
Now let’s put them together in the same drawer!

Internet, Extranet and Intranet websites - what they are, how are they used, do I need them?
An Internet website is the term you are most likely already familiar with. They are what you typically think of when you think of a website. Websites such as www.pavliks.com or www.cbc.ca are public-facing pages that are used for the general public to anonymously view.

Purchasing Dynamics CRM is easy. Choosing which way to purchase can be more difficult.
Why? Well because there are several options, all designed to give you choice and a model that fits your business best.
You can buy it outright and own the license for the software, you can choose to pay over a period of years or you can rent Dynamics CRM on a monthly or yearly basis.
Renting or “subscribing” to software is becoming more and more popular. My estimate is that in the next 5 years most new software applications will have a subscription or rental option. With current technology and relatively fast pervasive Internet access it is a viable option.

Now that Office 2010 is finally here, we’re starting to hear from many of our customers that are still holding on to Office 2003 (and even older versions). Being two versions behind current, they’re wanting to know if it’s time to upgrade.
The answer is yes.
This version keeps a similar feel to 2007, but includes some immensely useful features across the entire suite. The interface has been streamlined even further and many tasks that took several clicks and confirmation boxes to complete are now done in a single click. The Outlook calendar alone is worth the price of admission.

Running productive meetings is a goal for any business. If the participants of a meeting are in different locations then making the meeting efficient becomes challenging considering the time and expense to get everyone together in the same room.
