pavliks.com becomes CME SMART Qualified Service Provider

Do you Need a $50,000 Technology Makeover?

Last month pavliks.com proudly marked its 40th year in business and announced the $50,000 Technology Makeover Contest. One lucky business owner in Simcoe County will receive $50,000 in technology products and services.

The contest opens on April 1st and allows business located in Simcoe County to apply for the $50,000 prize. Applicants are required to answer questions about their business, why they need a technology makeover, and the benefits they would realize from the $50,000 grand prize.

The Technology Makeover website (www.techmakeover.ca) is being updated regularly with all the details on the contest. Check out the YouTube videos on how to apply and what makes up the grand prize.

Applications for the grand prize will be accepted until June 30th, 2009 after which 5 finalists will be selected and profiled online and on Rogers TV. On August 5th 2009, the winner will be announced with a celebration at the winner’s location and the delivery of the Technology Makeover.

107.5 KOOL FM Improves their Internet Presence!

Client Challenge: 107.5 KOOL FM required a new website that addressed their key business objectives of;

A design update focused on their demographics that represented the radio station’s brand of trendy and stylish.
A way to generate revenue from the site and measure its financial success.
The ability for DJ’s to extend their profile beyond the radio, and have a site that was easily updated.
A website that was the first stop for community information (road closures, school closures, bus cancellations).
A flexible site that would allow for the addition of new technologies today and in the future.

The Solution: pavliks.com worked with KOOL FM to redevelop their website. Graphic Designers worked on creating an effective, attractive and innovative looking design that was then integrated with a Content Management System (CMS) called Sitefinity. The Sitefinity CMS solution delivered the platform needed to accomplish KOOL FM’s goals of having easily updatable website content.

Interactive customized components such as emergency weather updates, road closures, bus cancellations, online free games and real-time song playlists were created and integrated with the new KOOL FM website.

Finally a dynamic database driven contest forms solution was designed so information could be gathered and mined for marketing purposes.

The Result: The new interactive website for 107.5 KOOL FM has enhanced their Internet presence and improved their ability to communicate with their audience.

Being able to immediately update the website means content is timely and relevant. The real-time playlist and on-the-air features drives visitors to the site and reinforces branding.

Visitor retention is created on the site with the online games and weather information.

All of these benefits enhance the ability to generate higher visitor traffic aiding in revenue growth from paid advertising space.
